So you really, really don't like being in front of the camera, and doing your engagement shoot is making you feel nervous? Well, there is a simple solution that is often overlooked because of its simplicity: get up with the sun and do your engagement shoot at sunrise or near it. There is usually hardly anyone out at that time, and you may encounter just one or two people, like we did with May and Ricardo. Not having so many strangers around will definitely help to put you at ease and you'll be able to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the sun rising. As an added bonus, the light is so beautiful at that time of day, so your photos will glow and all your friends will oooohhh and ahhhhh over them!

We decided to explore the Scarborough Bluffs for May and Ricardo's engagement shoot, which has become so popular both with the general public, and photographers alike. It's no wonder, it's a beautiful spot of land with private beaches and soaring cliffs. It's hard to believe that a place like that exists so close to home, I always love coming here!!

We had such a peaceful and calm morning by the lake, encountering birds and May flies only. Well, and that one guy who just had to capture the majestic views as well ;)
