No matter your wedding venue—Toronto, the GTA, or beyond—or your season, the magic of your wedding day is treasured for always.

Sharon + Jon - Evergreen Brickworks wedding

Sharon and Jon, where do I even begin with these two wonderful human beings!  From the first moment I met these sweet lovers I instantly felt like I knew them for a lifetime, like we were friends already.  The more time we spent together the more I realized that this happens to everyone they meet, from a small and quick encounter to a more long term relationship.  They have a way of making you feel so loved and appreciated, so accepted that they practically radiate kindness.  When I grow up I want to be like Sharon and Jon!

I had a feeling their wedding day was going to be memorable to say the least.  This was fully confirmed when I walked into the Four Seasons where Sharon was getting ready and found her and her girls sitting in a bathtub with their clothes on drinking mimosas!  We had a gorgeous day at Brickworks where they got married, and their modern aesthetic and vision was perfectly brought to life by Alex from Blush and Bowties.  They love food and wine so it was no surprise their 5 course meal had a unique (and delicious) wine paring for each course.  And the best part, they know how to party!  Electric Blonde kept everyone dancing and I just loved the custom neon signs they had made for their dessert and bar tables.

When I sent them a few previews of their wedding, this is the response I got:

"I thought there was a rule that you're not allowed to make people cry while they're on their honeymoon. These are stunning. We've said right from the get-to that photography as an artistic medium is so fascinating because of its ability to capture moments imbued with so much meaning and memory. Your artistry and obvious passion for the medium shines in this truly staggering collection of moments and memories. We are without words.

You have captured our hearts as well as these moments. Thank you for everything you are. "

So yeah, now I must carry on with life without Sharon and Jon's warm presence, unless I convince them to meet up for a few more wine dates :)

Sharon and Jon, I am so thankful we met and that I got a chance to learn from you what true kindness and selflessness looks like.  Thank you for letting me into your life!
